About Me:
My name is Alana, but most of my favorite people call me Mrs. Kole!
I am currently completing my student teaching through Brandman University. I have completed all necessary coursework and I am scheduled to graduate with my MA and Multiple Subject Credential this May. I am hopeful that I will be in my own classroom for the 2021-2022 school year!
In my view, the role of an educator is to guide students as they navigate through their educational journey. I pride myself on maintaining an authoritative classroom management style while still making room for democracy and exploration in my classroom. I strongly believe that my first job is to ensure that all of my students feel heard and valued from the moment they enter our class.
As I begin my first year as a teacher, I hope to find my place on a team of educators committed to reaching all learners, infusing their curriculum with diversity rich resources, and shaping the minds of life long learners!
